VINTAGE: RUSSWIN # P 01428 ENTRY LOCK w/NEW CYLINDER & KEYS (12718)
Vintage:  RUSSWIN circa 1920 - 1940 entry mortise lock lock.   Completely reconditioned inside and out, with a new Security Guard brass lock cylinder and two new keys.
Heavy brass faceplate with body of the lock clearly maker marked 'RUSSWIN', one of America's great manufacturers of builder's hardware during the second half of the 19th & early part of the 20th Century.
Dimensions as follows:
FACEPLATE: Brass front plate measures  7 11/16" long, 1" wide, 1/8" thick.
BOX: Box is 3 3/8" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 5 1/2" top to bottom.
SCREWS: Screws are on 6 3/4" centers.
SETBACK: Setback (the distance from the front edge of the front plate to the center of the cylinder) is 2 1/2".
KNOB POST: The knob post is a two piece split pivot, accommodates a 3/8" knob post on the outside of the door and a 5/16" knopost on the inside of the door.  Functions perfectly.
