This item
consists of one fairly uncommon piece of vintage hardware. It is intended to be mounted into the edge of any double-door arrangement so that one of the doors remains fixed to accommodate the mortise lock of the other. I do not have its original receiver plate with the round hole but I can include a standard plate with a rectangular hole. It is customarily mounted at the top of the door. It is solid brass.
