Vintage 1930-40 Deco Style Mortise Lock w/Knobs, Plates, Spindle, Key & Strike

Description

A vintage mortise door lock set, circa 1940-50's, complete with strike, key, door knobs, and two full escutcheon plates.  Spacing on lock 2 1/4" from knob hole to center of center top rounded part of keyhole.  Back set on lock is 2  3/8".  Lock body is 3  1/2" high x 3" deep x 5/8 and is steel.  Lock face is 5 1/4" x 7/8" and is steel with nickel finish .  Strike is 3  7/8" x 7/8" also nickel plated finish.  Lock is reversible with original key.  Also Included is one pair of nickel plated cast brass door knobs on original spindle.  Knobs are 2" diameter and in good condition.   Also included are two  full plate escutcheons in the Deco style of forged steel and nickel plated finish - measuring 7" x 2".   All pieces are in good condition with minor surface marks and light spotting and seems to have been lightly used.  Being sold as found.
