SILVER PERPETUAL CALENDAR 1930s GERMAN Restaurant Receipt Book BERLIN Vintage

Offered here is a handsome vintage silver receipt book from a restaurant in Berlin that has a mechanical calendar indicating the day of the week and the date.  It is stamped on the back as shown.  The left lever advances the left numbers, the right lever advances the right numbers, and the knob on the back changes the day of the week.  Some sort of paper slip slid into the lower rectangular window, perhaps the month?  The page holder lifts to reveal the paper receipt book printed “HO BERLIN” and “GASTSTATTEN HO BERLIN”.  It measures approximately 7 ½” long x 3 ½” wide and stands about 2 3/8” tall.  The angled calendar section is not hinged, and is fixed in place.  It has a worn felt bottom.
