    RUSSWIN P1213 PUSH BUTTON ENTRY MORTISE LOCK w/LOCK CYLINDER & KEYS (16341)
    Vintage:  RUSSWIN circa 1925-1935 entry mortise lock lock.  Very hard to find in this condition. Comes with a new SECURITY GUARD brass cylinder lock and two keys.  This mortise lock is made for a thumb press handle on the outside of the door and for a turn knob on the inside of the door.
    Large and heavy brass faceplate with the deadbolt clearly maker marked 'RUSSWIN', one of America's great manufacturers of builder's hardware during the second half of the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century .  Mortise is

    Dimensions as follows:
    FACEPLATE:
    Brass front plate measures  7 3/8" long, 1 1/8" wide, 3/16" thick.  The brass face has some dings and scratches otherwise we would be selling it for more as the P1213 is very difficult to find.
    BOX:
    The box is nearly 4" deep from the front edge of the brass face plate to the back of the black box and it is 5 1/4" top to bottom.
    SCREWS:
    The screws are on 6 3/8" centers.
    BACKSET:
    The backset (the distance from the front edge of the brass faceplate to the center of the knob hole is 2 7/8"
    DROP:
    The drop (the distance from the center of the key cylinder hole to the center of the knob post hole)  is 3 5/8".
    FUNCTIONALITY:
    Designed for thumb press handle to be used from the outside of the door and for a turn knob from the inside of the door.
    Fully restored, very clean inside and out, no rust, functions perfectly, heavy duty and with keys!
