Rim Lock Restored 1863 Norwalk Complete

Description

A reversible cast iron rim lock with a patent date of July 21, 1863. The lock itself measures 3-5/8" x 4-1/4 inches high with the keeper being 7/8 of an inch wide. It has a privacy latch located on the side of the lock and a tab on top to change the hand without removing the case.
