READING HARDWARE F2300 DOUBLE KEY ENTRY MORTISE LOCK w/KEY (14666)
Vintage, circa 1890-1910: Salvaged READING HARDWARE CO mortise lock.  Push button with double key, entry mortise has been cleaned and restored.
FACEPLATE:
Mortise lock has a heavy brass face plate with a length of 8 1/4" and a width of 1 1/4" and thickness of 3/16".
BACKSET:
Set back from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 3/4".
DROP:
The drop from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the top of the closest key slot is 2". Drop
from the center of the knob post hole to the center of the top of the lower key slot is 3 1/2".
KNOB POST:
The lock accommodates a standard 3/8" split knob post.
MORTISE BOX:
The mortise box itself is 3 9/16" deep from the back edge of the face plate to the back of the box.  It is 5 7/8" high, 5/8" thick.
REVERSIBILITY:
The lock is reversible, if you need to have it reversed advise us and we will reverse it before shipping.
KEY:
The lock comes with one key, the lower key, and it works from both sides of the door.
