    Description

    This is a Super Rare New-old-stock Vintage Russwin New Britain Brass Door "D" Latch Assembly!
    A new old stock item, including original box, tissue paper, unopened screws bundle and two latch parts!
    This is a strange latch system I haven't seen before.  You need to push in the rectangular door on the side of the "D" mechanism to get the latch to release.
    This came from a CT estate, probably from someone who worked at Russwin.
    "D" shaped part is about 2 3/8 long, by 2" wide, by about 11/16" thick (not including the round button).
    The smaller brass part is about 2" long.
    Appears to be a really rare set!
