PRICE IS FOR EACH: ONE NASHUA HARDWARE CIRCA 1880 MORTISE LOCK with KEY - FULLY RESTORED (15887)
Vintage, Circa 1875-1885, fully restored, with key works perfectly, very nice, Nashua Hardware, circa 1880. NOTE: Before their purchase by Lockwood, Nashua locks did not carry a model number on the face or in the casting, so compare the size numbers outlined below carefully to the one you are replacing.
The lock is reversible.
FACEPLATE:
Faceplate is brass, 5 3/8" long, 7/8" wide, 1/8" thick.
BOX:
Box is 3 1/8" deep from the front edge of the face plate and it is 4 1/4" top to bottom.
SCREWS:
Screw holes are on 4 3/4" centers.
BACKSET:
Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole) is 2 3/8".
DROP:
Drop (the distance from the center of the knob post hole down to the center of the round portion of the key hole) is 2 1/8".
KNOB POST:
The lock requires a standard 5/16" knob post.
KEY:
The lock comes with one functioning key.
