    CORBIN #1343 DOUBLE CYLINDER ENTRY MORTISE LOCK w/KEYS 7 7/8" FACE (12743)
    Vintage, circa 1930-40: Salvaged P.F. CORBIN mortise lock #1343 double cylinder with two matching brass cylinders and three keys.  Entry mortise has been cleaned and restored.
    MORTISE LOCK BOX: Mortise lock has a Japanned face plate with a length of 7 7/8" and a width of 1 1/8" and thickness of 1/8".
    BACKSET:  Backset (the distance from the front edge of the face plate to the center of the knob post hole is 2 3/4".
    BOX:  Box measures 3 7/8" from the front edge of the brass faceplate to the back of the box.  Box measures 5 9/16" in height.
    FUNCTIONALITY:  The lock is designed to unlock from either side via the lock cylinder on each side of the door.
    SCREWS: Screws are on 7" centers.
    DROP:  The drop from the center of the cylinder lock down to the center of the knob post hole is 3 7/8".
    KNOB POST or KNOB SHAFT: The lock accommodates a standard 5/16"  knob post.
    REVERSIBILITY:  The lock is reversible.
    KEY: The lock comes with three keys and they all work well from either side of the door.
