    CORBIN #0568 L ENTRY LOCK w/1 1/4" CYLINDER & KEY, COMPLETE SET!! (15675-4)
    Vintage:  CORBIN circa 1900 and included in their 1895 thru their 1931 catalog.  This heavy entry mortise lock is numbered #568 or 0568 L with a vintage oversize 1 1/4" cylinder and four key.  Works perfectly.
    Brass faceplate with plate clearly maker marked 'CORBIN', one of America's great manufacturers of builder's hardware during the second half of the 19th Century and the first half of the 20th Century .
    Dimensions as follows:
    FACEPLATE:
    Brass front plate measures  8 3/4" long, 1 1/4" wide, 3/16" thick.
    DROP:
    The drop from the center of the key cylinder hole to the center of the knob post hole is 4 1/2".
    BACKSET:
    Back set (the distance from the front edge of the brass faceplate to the very center of the knob post hole) is also 2 5/8".
    BOX:
    Box is 3 5/8" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 6 3/8" top to bottom.
    SCREWS: Screws are on 7 7/8" centers.  .
    KNOB POST:
    Has a 5/16" knob post and it is included with the brass knobs.
    LOCK CYLINDER:
    Uncommon oversize 1 1/4" lock cylinder, very nice piece.
    KEYS:
    Comes with key.
    THUMB TURN KNOB:
    Included with the set.
    KNOB ESCUTCHEONS:
    Included with the set.
    REVERSIBILITY:
    This is a Left Hand lock and it is not reversible.  (see HAND OF DOORS chart to be sure you know what you need.
