    Description

    Circa 1830 antique Norfolk wrought iron thumb latch handle in wrought iron.   The f
    ull back plate measures 6 7/8" high x 1 1/2" wide.  The handle portion is about 3 3/4" high.  The thumb press is scooped and pinned on the back pivot with a curved wrought thumb lift extending out 2".  Nicely executed early American handle for a Norfolk style thumb latch, untouched in remnants of original finish and some surface rust, as found.  Purchase is for single handle only.
