    Description

    Antique ornate interior rim lock door hardware
    For sale is an antique rim lock door hardware set. It came from a farmhouse built in 1902 and exhibits Eastlake stylings on both sides of the case. The logo on the case indicates it was made by the Shapleigh and Cantwell Hardware Company. The rim lock case is approximately 4 1/4” by 3 1/4” inches and is 5/8” thick. This door hardware was intended for an interior door as there is no dead bolt. It does have a privacy tab. Also included are the keeper and an ornate keyhole cover. The intricate scroll wok on the case is repeated on the keep and keyhole cover.
    All three items have been stripped, repainted and copper highlights added (original appears to have had copper plating).
