    Description

Up for auction an antique cast iron lift up rim door lock with keeper.  This piece is being auctioned as is for parts or repair.
The lock measures 6 3/8" wide from latch to end, 4" from top to bottom, case is 3/4" thick and latch plate is 1" wide.  The keeper measures 4" high from top to bottom, top is 1 1/8" wide and the side is 3/4" wide. The combined weight is 2.3 pounds prior to packing for shipping.  Will ship in a 8x8x4 box.
This piece has a good antique appearance with wear, rust and patina consistent with age and use.  The back plate has damage to the inner key hole and missing a screw.  The remaining screw is stuck, so the back plate has not been taken off.  A knob moves the lift up latch smoothly and easily, but the deadbolt is sliding in and out.  The keeper has layers of paint inside and out.
Happy to combine shipping, please allow us to send a revised invoice so the postage will be correct.  Thank you for looking.
