    Description

    Early cast iron American lock manufactured circa 1840's - 1850's complete and restored.  Lock measures
    31/4" high x 5" deep x 3/4"
    and is not reversible -
    left hand only
    .  Keeper is additional 1" wide.  Lock has early configuration of the latch on bottom and keyed bolt on top shown in photos.  Complete with small antique brass door knobs 1  5/8" diameter, key escutcheon (1 1/2" x 7/8") and rosette (1 5/8").  Lock is restored to black finish, complete with one key.  Back set is about 4" to knob center and 2" to key way center.  A fine quality early American door lock, restored, complete.
