  • Condition: Heavy-duty, antique, spring-loaded door flushbolt salvaged from Northeastern PA. The bolt, casing, and keeper are made of solid, heavy, thick cast iron. Originally, the pieces were bronze plated, however, much of the bronze wore off over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed look.Normally, bolts like this have a long chain connected to it, but we acquired it without the chain.Considering it's age this piece is in excellent condition without any breaks, cracks, chips, dents, or deep scratches. There is only a bit of surface rust but no corrosion. The spring is still strong and ready for another lifetime of service.     Cast Iron Spring-Loaded Flushbolt & Keeper
    Heavy-duty, antique, spring-loaded door flushbolt salvaged from  Northeastern PA. The bolt, casing, and keeper are made of solid, heavy, thick cast iron.  Originally, the pieces were bronze plated, however, much of the bronze wore off  over the years leaving the parts with a nice, distressed look.

    t's  the locking mechanism installed on one of the doors in a pair of double doors,  for the purpose of keeping one door stationary,while allowing the other to  swing freely
